Journal of Survey from the Virginia Land Office, April 22, 1782-May 29, 1792.

These records consist of the journal of land surveys received by the office of the deputy register for the Western Waters [Kentucky]. Recorded in columns are the date on which the survey was received into the Kentucky office, the proprietor's name, the quantity of land involved, the number assigned the survey in the office, and the money received both in composition and surveyor's fees. Surveys received between April 1782 and June 1783 are numbered 1 through 375. Those received after July 1, 1783. are unnumbered. Surveys received between January 1784 and September 1791 are also not numbered.
